Roaring Boot is part of the Deadly Magical Girls Series. 
 
Inspired by a very specific type of manga, this series explores the typically innocent image of the magical girl who is meant to fight for justice and love. Hapton’s Magical Girls are trapped between their childhood nostalgia and the fear of growing up. They are fighting because they are scared and abused by this society, and they are ready to kill to achieve peace. This series explores femininity through violence and transforms its docile stereotypes.
