Spicy Ramen Girl

Spicy Ramen Girl is an original ceramic sculpture by Louise Hapton from the Ita-Dakimasu series.
 
This series explores femininity and cuteness as something “consumable” The artist merges girls with delicious looking foods to show how patriarchy encourages people to feed on women and children. However, there is a twist. They look so eerie — with their big eyes full of thoughts and they have such bright colour that they might actually be one of nature’s luring traps. Rebellious poisonous creatures we thought edible.
