Sushi Girl

Sushi Girl is a Mixed Media sculpture within the Ita-Dakimasu series.
 
This series explores femininity and cuteness as something “consummable” The artist merges girls with delicious looking foods to show how patriarchy encourages people to feed on young women. However, there is a twist. They look so eerie — with their big eyes full of thoughts and they have such bright colour that they might actually be one of nature’s luring traps. Rebellious poisonous creatures we thought edible.
