"Teddy Gris" is an original ceramic sculpture by Louise Hapton from the "Teddy Bear" series.
This piece deals with nostalgia and how we see our childhood as adults. This teddy is dirty, despite being machine washed hundreds of time. It lost its colour in the wash, lost its reassuring stench. Yet it remembers. It remembers the first steps, the first fallen tooth, the first periods... We have forgotten him, but he will never forget us. It will remain our childhood totem, even without its colours and smell.
