The cactus valley
"The cactus valley" by Louise Hapton is one of the aerosol painting of the Drooling eyes series. In this series, the young artist is attempting to illustrate her daily visions and nightmares.
Red eyes are a part of Louise Hapton's work, in both writing and painting. To her, they represent anger and madness. This piece illustrates a desert in which madness has lurked its way. There are no women. No men. No children. Yet after centuries of human misery, even the most isolated grain of sand is contaminated by insanity. So is the cactus valley.
