« Lutte d’hommes (Two men fighting) » by Louise Hapton is a 65x50 soft and oil pastel drawing on paper.
These two men are fighting with angst, but at the same time, their penises are pointing towards each other. Is it a sharp weapon? Or the sign of inadmissible homosexuality? Highly inspired by the Antique men’s relationship, this drawing is the interpretation of a form of masculine toxicity where men have to keep fighting and hide their love for each other to stay « virile ».
