We can't stitch it back together, nonetheless flowers bloom.
After they were torn apart, Louise and her ex-boyfriend wanted to stay friends. However, it didn't work on Louise's side. She still loved him so much. Therefore, she took one of the hardest decisions of her life: cut the link abruptly between her ex and her. She explained her reasons and said goodbye.
With no regret, yet many sorrows, the artist painted "We can't stitch it back together, however, flowers bloom", re-interpreting the first horse painting she had made after they broke up.
Indeed, the horses are not screaming in fury anymore. They have fallen to the ground, their carcass rotting slowly. It could seem like a macabre thing, but maybe killing the horses was the only way to escape this pain. The iconic sunflower her guardian angel used to love so much bloomed in between the blood stains. It will grow for as long as Louise is alive.
